Low headlight trucks can have them flipped to high headlight position. The crossbars get swapped one side to the other and turned over (because of the way they are bent).
Some factory high headlight trucks can be flipped to low, but most can't.
If you pause between flippings, the truck looks...
Here is the NOS red bottle I had.
It also occurs to me that I didn't show the back of the actuators to you, figuring that detail would be hidden, but have included them here anyway.
Cheers
I thought you probably were going to add it, seeing all the other intricate detail you have put in.
As regards the pull handle, it might be visible looking in the top hatch, or through a side door. And you'll know it is in there. ;)
My bottle is actually OD green. It was NOS in a box (new...
Here is what the fire suppression bottle looks like out of it's bracket.
And two actuators.
The actuator back screws onto the larger fitting on the bottle, the metal hose into the engine bay screws onto the smaller fitting.
The cable from the drivers seat connects to that lever on the...
That is absolutely wonderful!
I don't know if you already planned to add it, but here are some details on where the engine fire suppression bottle fits in that cubby I have outlined in red on your model.
The bottle is activated by a cable that runs along the inside corner of the roof to a...
Too bad you didn't get it.
All things considered, that wasn't an unreasonable price. Apparently square-body Chevys have become a very hot item in the collector world.
My bedless crewcab outside my buddy's shop draws regular motivated buyers, even though it is not for sale. Many just don't...
Starting this for folks to post the Independence day parades they participated in this year. Please feel encouraged to add your own posts.
My group, LoneStar MVPA, was invited by the City of Lakeway to participate in their parade. We had 16 vehicles scheduled, but two had to cancel because...
I meant to, but was a tad off on when "the last day" was...... signed on here about two hours too late.
Wouldn't have changed the outcome, though. Well done Kendelrio!

The original bows came with a bar bolted between them to keep the tarp from sagging and the bows from wiggling.
They are just metal tubing with the ends flattened, should be easy to make a set if you're interested.

I guess dragging one home counts as "Do to" :)
Found this excellent condition HP-J4 in a junkyard, bought it for 30c a pound (1960 pounds).
It is a DRASH trailer, designed to carry a large tent. The rear deck (from the box back) tilts 90* to stand the tent upright.
It has 2022 dated Humvee...
I've used pilot headsets with a battery powered intercom for years, mainly because I already had them in my flight bag.
In the V100, though, I use the standard Vic-3 intercom and CVC helmets.
I've never tried a bluetooth for phone, but have just stuck a plug-in type earpiece inside the headset...
To help narrow this down, if you are looking for the paint codes for 383 camouflage (green/black/brown) as on the hood of your truck, they are -
Green 34094
Brown 30051
Black 37030
The complete repaint camo patterns are in TB 43-0209 manual in the manuals forum.
