Well, in the nearly 30 years since the last dual circuit M44A2s left the assy. line, only M-series restoration has managed it but at a pricepoint that no one could afford. And I'm not sure it even took the correct master cylinder.
But I'm not your average guy and I have some people helping me...
So, I don't have a lot of red oxide experience, so you should probably just ignore everything you're about to read.
I have shot tons of stuff, mostly with Southern Polyurethane epoxy primer and as long as it's dry to the touch (i.e. it's dry enough that it isn't tacky any more), I haven't had...
Click on that link I shared. We've already designed a robust replacement.
I'm putting off a cab brace install for the same reasons. I need the brace in order to install the M44A3 3 point seat belt system. A lot of work.
That's an awesome truck. Radials, P/S, O/D, lockouts, winch, etc. Very nice work.
It won't make any difference. They're junk.

100%. I've had 2 of these that were cracked and no surprise, they were on trucks that came directly from the military (via GL) and the PTO was RTV'd to the...
My deuce had the standard spring ride drivers seat and passenger bench. When I got an M44A3 drivers seat, I put the stock spring ride on the right side. And it was that way for a year or so, until I rode in it while my Dad drove.
What I found was that the spring ride upright is sooo vertical...

I'll lock this thread now (thought I locked it earlier, I'm a dork)
The rally attorney is on vacation, when he gets back in a couple weeks, I am going to schedule a sit down with him and see if we can post the forms online and let people do them ahead of time. I'll post in this thread when I get an answer.
If we can't do this, then you'll fill out the...
Hey James,
I moved your post from the 2016 thread to this thread (and I'm going to go close and lock the old thread so no one else can post to it-just forgot to lock the old threads when I put up the 2017 stuff).
All your images should work now.

2. I'd replace the boom and shipper with a good used takeout. Use that job as an opportunity to rebuild the cylinder(s) and hoses. It's part and parcel of owning one of these. A 5 ton...
