I'm very fond of the 855 cummins in the A1's, the A2's power is easier to bump up can go to 400 if need be. The CTIS is a pain sooner or later. I like my A1's very much. :driver:

I must be in error as I was talking about bead locks as though they were the same as run flats. I stand corrected !

Bead locks or run flats will let you limp to a safe spot, will allow you tom air up a flat as the bead will not break, and make airing up when mounting much easier. Bead locks for 1400r20s are 7 3/4" wide maybe a shy 8" on some, 1600r20s have 1 1/2 " beads which are thicker then 14s and the...

I would add a ton or two of extra weight in the back of the deuce (all the way to the back) it will help. go for it.

Does anyone know the width of the run flats they put in the 1600's. hte 1400's seem to wide

sellers were good folks, truck runs good even better after the 800 miles. No issues, a good USED truck. I really wanted the military air ride. Made by Neway, and works well for me. Still need info. on the run flats for 16' wide tires.
