I chase some CW DX on 30 meters from time to time. Now Field Day, that's a very serious event for our group.

I was sweeping the 26-55 MHz region. It does not do so well in the 11 meter band but does do well in the 6 meter band. Its a MX6707 base that has a switch on the bottom to change frequency ranges. So the CB band is not so good but the 52 MHz region looks good for FM simplex work.

John, The resistor pack consists of two .28 ohm resistors in parallel, so it should read .14 ohms of resistance.

The M1009 seems to be a little hard to start in very cold temperatures. Excessive cranking time and lots of smoke on start up. I was wondering if I had a a few inoperative glow plugs. Ohm tested all 8 glow plugs and found 3 to be completely open. The remaining ones measured out at .8 ohms each...

Try grounding the light blue wire and see if it closes the relay, if it does, measure the voltage on the GP side of the relay to see if it is getting the proper voltage. Then check to see if the light blue wire has continuity from the relay to the GP card connector, if so then you may have 2...

That P/N comes back as a glow plug controller/relay for the civilian 6.2 and 6.5 engine. https://www.partstech.com/Delphi-Diesel-Glow-Plug-Controller/details/BBMX-HDC904 So you may have another wiring "challenge" ahead of you.
