If your truck ever needs a push, the bumperettes allow such an operation without damage. The rubber bumpers on your tailgate sit against the bumperettes when open all the way.

How did you straighten the frame? My limited experience with Jeep frames has been that almost all of them are off in some way-either a high or low corner or out of square. All my experience with such issues involved frame benches.
