Same thing happened when they mounted my new tires. They left them out in the warm sun with a tube inside (not mounted) and they came back into shape so they would seal. They have been holding air fine since mounted and tubeless.
Yup, the Goat tires are tubeless.....that's how I run mine, I know some guys run tubes tho. bet they will chime in on here eventually. (Maybe the tubes help them float better)?
I'm no expert but betcha there are plenty on here, I've had mine @ 1 1/2 years and it was mostly complete when I got it. You can probably look back thru some of the previous posts and pictures on here to get a pretty good idea what it should look like. I would think if it starts and runs and...
Looks great......I have a 1983 CJ8 Scrambler that I use to pull my M416 trailer with, you can get either Ford, sometimes old IHC Scout or Jeep wheels. I have the same size wheels , same tires and all on the trailer that I run on the Jeep. They are also tubeless. Some guys put on "fancy"...
Not sure why I got the double pic post, tried to post a short video taken on the move from the Mule. The Mule was a big hit, scouts, lots of kids and adults wanted to sit on it, get their picture taken and asked to drive it.
I'm no electrical genius, but I can usually get a light wired up good enough to pass the smoke test. I have 2 incandescent bulb driving lights mounted on the passenger side of my mule but I also have a separate hot and ground wire coming out of each housing. I just ran a separate ground wire...
I have multiple strikes against me for working / operating these beasts. I'm tall, uncoordinated anyway, fatter than I should be, old and broken up: I have considered charging for admission for people to watch me ass-in and un-ass the vehicle. Watching and listening to me work on it would have...
I wouldn't know about who made what parts, betcha GamGoat1 might know...he's the only "Goat Whisperer" I know. I have however given a few parts I was working on my own personal pet name as I busted knuckles or couldn't reach something, thought they were all made in HE double toothpicks.
I got the other 3 on the Goat today, while working on the rear end I noticed the shocks were made in Canada.....may as well be since the rims are from England.....guess I didn't realize we did that much out sourcing on US built in the 70's.
Today I painted my rims for the new recap tires I bought a while back, got 3 of them swapped out on the truck. I checked the rims and all 6 were marked Sankey England, 5 of them an A/71 stamp, 1 with a G/69 stamp.
Just another thought on this, and don't quote me on all the steps involved from suing the state, just shooting from the hip here....."IF" you found a willing attorney to take the case (I know money talks...free stuff doesn't pay the bills after law school), you don't want a lousy lawyer to take...
There are all kinds of exemptions for various levels of the "gubmint" where they can have lots of things that a regular guy on the street cannot. Many of these "things" are thru a kind of lend / lease from the fed's to the states and cities. They are not subject to all kinds of regulations that...
I'm a native, grew up loving this state and all that was in it, went away to the Marines and far off foreign shores, returned home and made it my home by choice. "IF" I didn't have so many ties here still I'd pack my trash, pull my money and un-ass the area; my concerns are that wherever I could...
