Looks like it will work just fine.
I've seen them a lot worse.
Recommend you use silicone grease on the bead.
It makes breaking the tire down again MUCH easier.
Thank you for the update (with pictures) and congratulations on the successful setup.
So many times, someone will ask for help and then they never update the end result, good or bad.
The wealth of knowledge of SS members always amazes me.
I would take off the oil hose completely and see if it's not blocked.
When hoses get old and cracked, a chunk of rubber can block the line without fully detaching from the inside.
Hose will look good from the outside.
Almost acting like a check valve.
(Old Brake hoses have this happen all the...
You had mentioned earlier in this thread about your fuel tank and I was looking for exactly that when these popped up.
I have a jack I need to install on the trailer.
It’s not the A3 version but the M1101 type jack.
Exactly the same jack, same manufacturer, just painted gloss black for the...
Great point and noted.
Will just rotate it every 6 months or so.
The drums will fit on the front of the trailer floor if I relocate the tool box.
But I think the pallet idea is best due to the weight and ease of handling with the tractor.
Nothing exciting
Driveway Maintenance
I have a fairly long driveway and it needs the occasional touchup
It's much cheaper than having it hauled in.
The M101A2 is perfect for these small projects since it can handle the weight and rough terrain that a normal trailer couldn't
Overkill?
Of course!
Bought the remaining last two this morning.
Not sure what to do with them but the price was too good to pass up.
No need to store drinking water since we are on a well.
I love the whisky idea actually, great to barter with.
I have regular steel 55 gallon drums but didn't...
Picked up two Stainless Steel 55 gallon drums last night.
They are food grade and used once.
Clean out will be easy, They both had vanilla in them.
These are my new extended run fuel tanks for the MEP-002A
Not sure if to mount one and the other a spare or just leave both loose and just keep on...
I'm sure you did already, but recommend using quality anti-seize on the pipe threads.
Months/Years of engine exhaust heat and then sitting idle in a barn will make that a bear to remove at a later date.
Used the M101A2 to haul some gravel.
This trailer has the heavy spring kit installed.
Had 1.6 ton of gravel in it and it still wasn’t touching the bump stops.
Lousy pic and trailers almost empty when taken, but it did much better than expected over rough roads.
Surge brakes worked great and...
The M105A2 is a big, heavy trailer.
Add no brakes and a heavy generator and you have a very bad day waiting to happen.
Very smart move realizing it was too much for your truck and getting rid of it.
You definitely scored with the solid wheels on the new trailer.
A lot of shops will not...
That is much better and also has the solid steel wheels.
No lock ring to deal with.
What are your plans for the generator?
That's a lot of generator for single home use.
