That video is funny in a lot of ways.
It's been floating around the internets for years, it was sent to me as a mp4 file years before google video (which was rolled into YouTube when google acquired YouTube) and YouTube existed.
Since then, it has been reuploaded and reuploaded by who knows...
Much thanks to Peashooter for his assist here. I have a customer's M35A3 here that needed a system flush. Here's what I did:
Using the aforementioned Dorman 42044 caps and the Dorman 420814 gaskets, I built a pressure bleeder adapter for the firewall mounted M44A3 reservoir.
I took the new...

You can successfully rebuild them.................. there are 2 o-rings in them that you can replace.
Except-the rear valve. It's like a brass disc that is coated with rubber on the side facing the housing. When the front axle is disengaged, the rubber side is pressed against the housing and...
I have called and emailed my State Senator (Frank Ginn) and asked that he support SB392.
Just so everyone is clear, you do not need to contact your representative in the House-for now, just contact your Senator.
I have contacted many of my local friends and will post this on my Facebook page...
I went back and read about the first 200 posts (there are 480+ posts in the thread) and I don't see anything about pre-1986 vehicles being denied-so am I missing something?
A 1967 M35A2C should have no problem-a 1987 M35A2C should not be titled but many have been, albeit incorrectly.
Better...
Mind you, I am not an M170 expert, so keep in mind the cost and value of free advice.
Most everything forward of the firewall is the same. I thought the suspension and brakes were the same, but according to a poster above, the springs are different. Everything in the rear is different: bows...
Do you mean how much of the M38A1 stuff you see on the market, or M38? If it's M38, not a lot.
M38 uses an L-head engine, M38A1/M170 uses the F-head. 2 different engines.
No. What I ended up doing, after being advised by a Rockwell/M44 expert was to let a machine shop polish the flange and if the groove didn't come out, let them turn the flange down slightly and use a different pinion seal with a slightly smaller inner diameter.
The exact quote and the meat of...
A couple of years ago there was a nice Strata Blue M35 (gasser) on eBay-does anyone have pics of it? I thought I'd saved them but I can't find them now.
No. Just swapped the dead bulb for a new 4811 and carefully inspected. Didn't go foggy, no cracks, installed properly, etc. I just think the armor lights either have a design flaw and transfer too much vibration for the filament to handle or the bulbs we are buying today are light duty...
