We old guys have to update our vocab occasionally. Until yesterday I didn't know what 'twerk' meant. Best I can tell it means an uncontrollable shaking of the rear end. My trucks never did that. The shaking was always in the front. This was supposed to explain it but I'm not sure I understand.

Here is my Ready Welder power source Exide batteries and the 3 inductors salvaged from an M-G UPS. The connectors on the insulator strip allow tapping 3, 2, 1 or zero coils in series by moving the battery clamps (which came on the Ready Welder).

Just noticed this thread update. I'll take some pictures and post them. The coils were out of a huge 3 phase UPS system, used for something about phase stabilization.

Oh Boy, you are going to love that 406 mog!!! It would do just fine with 12.5 tires for the purpose you intend, with none of the problems associated with larger tires.

Yep, about 42-43. You can still have a lot of fun and capability with a set of surplus 14.5 x 20 Michelin XL's for minimum $$. Sounds to me those would do it for you until you get into competition :-)

Hi Dano, I have one 406 with 14.5's and those work fine. You gain some road speed too. There are a couple of negatives to consider: If off roading, you'll stuff those big tires into iron and sheet metal occasionally, and might tear off the hydraulic fluid return line if you do not re-route...

I like it! That's a great combination (but hardly fits M-105 category any longer). Modifications like that are certainly a lot of work but definitely worth it to the owner!
