    M35a2 WIRE HARNESS

Yes, there's a thread around here somewhere where cranetruck dissected one. I looked for it and couldn't find it. Honestly, they're so cheap you're better off replacing it.

Oil all over motor, where should I start looking?

Whenever I have an engine like that, where it's too messy to positively identify the source, I take some undiluted degreaser, put it in a pesticide sprayer and soak everything. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes and hit it with the pressure washer. Once you've done this, make sure all the fluids are...

    Late Model USAF M35A2C Registry

Probably not the same kind of thing because: A: B: The few M35A3's the USAF might have gotten weren't any different from the Army or USMC M35A3's. But the A2C's the USAF ordered for the 1987-1989 contract were special-and weird. Pioneer rack and slave port delete, wood racks, dual circuit...

    M35A2 air pack questions

Totally off the subject, but I loathe automatic oilers. In my limited experience, automatic oilers over-oil the equipment and then when moisture makes it in, the overage of oil makes a sloppy, gooey mess which requires the machine to be disassembled and cleaned.

    New Guy

Options and condition. In terms of options, if you want all the "cool guy" stuff like winches, dropside beds, heaters, etc., it's better off to just buy a truck with all of that versus buying a stripper and adding it. In terms of condition, there is damage, corrosion and driveability. Good...

    GL & HUMMVe

This is the most hilarious thing I have ever read about MV's. I think this is better than the guy who was positive we had taken Jeep's to the moon.

    New guy from California.

So were you using the 939 series when you were in, or were you using the earlier 809/39 series 5 tons? Welcome to the site!

Air intake stack vents and bypassing axles

I love the archive argument. It's my favorite. Covered extensively here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?88381-searches-and-tm-s&p=1133429&viewfull=1#post1133429

    New mule owner

There's a guy on eBay with the bolts, look up the MS # in the TM and search eBay for it. Supposedly Coker is making or is going to make the correct tires, there's a big thread on g503 about it. I think they will be able to be ordered through Summit Racing as well.

    1. Inner seal for either a deuce or 5 ton. Probably deuce. Can be seen here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?8460-Front-axle-seals-and-boots-stepXstep&p=75920&viewfull=1#post75920 They're the same front and rear. 2. Believe those are front inner axle seals. They should have a...

    New Deuce owner here..

If that were my truck, I'd be doing the following: Pull all 6 drum/hub assemblies and: Clean and inspect entire area (shoes, hardware, etc.) Inspect wheel cylinders for leakage at a minimum, rebuild/replace if you are picky or don't want to go back in for a long time. Inspect flexible brake...

Where do I look for the laws concerning this hobby?

I'd prefer email, you want some degree of "cya"-with email, you have some degree of proof. Here's the thing-I think if you call them and ask them to email you the relevant codes, you'll never hear back from them. You have to deal with the following municipalities: State County City And...
