Ok great so i got some Harbor freight specials... got the box wrench on it ...tapping with a hammer to loosen (sprayed with PB blaster 2 hrs ago) Now one of the nuts is getting rounded. Wonder if I can get a super long socket extension under the intake manifold? PITA

Thanks guys.. hey Zero_cool, what is that gizmo picture on the right? I thought all I had to do was loosen the 3 flange bolts and turn the Ip a fingernails width toward the drivers side?

I need a better clue than that...Where can I look online to find the right angle and bend in a wrench to get at the IP bolts on a 6.2l ?

cracked each line ... and each one made it run worse... so that didnt help. next is to advance the timing. Those 2 bottom bolts are a bi.. bear. So im back to the computer researching how to loosen the 2 bottom bolts of the IP so I can advance the timing.

Sounds like the diesel mechanics that you origanaly took your truck to were WRONG! and were trying to fleece you for some big bucks.... crooks!

Im running diesel, added some transmission fluid and i have also run sea foam thru it... no improvement. So next I will bump up the timing.

Ok so my exhaust is blacker... sometimes surges a little since I turned up the pump screw. Got a little more power but I still think I got a miss or timing issue or an injector not spraying right. it just feels like it doesnt have the horse power it use to have.

Ok I just put it back together, took her for a test drive...so i can feel the extra power... Now I notice a little "surging" Air in the the system maybe? I also pulled the hose on my EGR.. CDR CCR You know what it is. I noticed some oil residue in the air breather. Also OIL was in the bottom...

Ok Im messing with my truck today... I got the top off the Injector pump. There is a gizmo on the lid that has a black seinoid that the pink wire conects to...I think. The O ring around the inside had some crud on it. Im sure it is from me putting Veggie oil in my system. Im going to turn up...

I think with the Mil radio cranked up you can cook hotdogs on the antenna.

The intermitent squeeling is the glow plug relay pulling juice from the altinators to the glow plugs until the truck warms up.... and if you (my guess) have the GP relay running off of 24v thru the resistor both batteries and both altinators are drawing current, making stereo phonic duel belt...

This thing is way too fast for me..... Runs great! I got a bunch of army stuff. Elbow pads, knee pads that black plastic helmet and these goretex gaitors for your pants legs. Interesting equipment....but all worked well as makshift dirtbike gear. PS everything is for sale so PM me.

Man i was cleaning my intake hole with mineral spirits... I poured somr in thinking it would maybe clean some of my veggie oil crud off the valves... Or whatever crazy thought I had. Anyway i took the pink wire off. turned it over and it made a couple of wierd noises. i stopped real quick...

I take it all back...I drove it today and its running Bad. I had to down shift going up hills.... acts like it did that time I had a bad fuel filter...But I just put in a new one. What are the symptoms of a bad fuel pump?... Maybe a clogged fuel sock?

My ac60gs burnt up after a month..The tips burnt off. They look like the end of a used welding rod. I didnt do the resistor bypass. I dont know why they fried...Yet

Well After I chilled out I found my 3 good wellmans I put in my tool box and reinstalled them. And the truck fired right up... I will fool with it later. Starts good in warm weather.
