Adam got the wheel bearings changed and the 818 rolled in the Columbia, SC parade (because his MIL wanted to be in the parade). He rolled out of the MVCSC compound around 1230-1300 to pick up the trailer and head to Georgia. By this time he should be in the vicinity of the CAMO compound.
Welcome from Lexington, SC. I was in Conway two weeks ago, working on a Mass Feeding Kitchen (about 20 times the capacity of my MKT) with a Disaster Relief Team.
It's hard to read a lot of the text from the PDF, but here is what I see (with ? where I could not make any sense of what the letter/number was):
A1 AC VOLTAGE REGULATOR
A2 MALFUNCTION INDICATOR
A3 FREQUENCY TRANSDUCER
A9 FLOAT SWITCH MODULE
A10 ??? EMI FILTER...
Helmets are required unless the person is inside a cab and has a seat belt on. If they are in the back, they should have a helmet. DT has been getting stricter about this rule.
Medusa will be there, probably at the CP, for charging phones. Larger devices can also be charged, but only if the are 'turned off' first. Medusa's ports are only rated at 1 amp each and tablets burn through more than that, so I'm mentioning it as a word to the wise.
I'm using one gauge four wire to bring in the MEP-003A power into the house because I got 57 feet of it for less than $300 delivered. From the generator lugs to just inside the house is only about 35 feet, so the rest can be used to take it to the manual switch (up, over and down to the main...
I've found some complete pup tent sets, most still in boxes. $35 a set. Since Bobby sold out of his, I'd like to get a feel about how many to bring, so, PM me any requests and I'll start putting them aside with your name on them. John Peck and crew will be handling the vendor part, since I'll...
And I. should be bringing 'Medusa" again this year and about 30 micro USB cords (but no Apple-to-USB cords - they are three to four times the price of 'standard' cords - bring your own). Medusa has places to plug in up to 40 standard USB cords while only using a single 115V 15 amp electrical...
Another reason is that LMTV cargo covers WILL work on a deuce - they are a little long on the sides and a little loose overall, but they do fit (I'm running one on one of my deuces), so the smart people have been gobbling them up when they do show their pretty little heads. Now you are in on...
On the highway, expect 50 miles an hour average, unless you have the larger (and much heavier) tires. Even bobbers will not get much more than 12 MPG. and theeDIZ is correct in that they require a good maintenance regimen.

There is a thread here that describes how to modify the antenna for use with a CB rig, probably in the radio forum. About the only thing available to civilians in the 30-88 mhz range is the six meter band (51 mhz), which would be the RT-524/RT-246 in a military radio. They are 'only' $400-500...
You have an AS-3900 antenna base, suitable for the newer types of radios (SINCGARS) which have only been released in tiny quantities. That antenna will be suitable for 30 to 88 MHZ transmission. The antenna that goes on that base is long (two piece) at about 9 to 10 feet. What radio do you...
There is also a Wally World in Ruckersville about 10 miles north of Charlottesville on US-29, left hand side of the road as you are going north and at a fairly large intersection. We will be stopping there to pick up some supplies that don't travel well (from past experience).
Where we will be shooting from is at Google Earth Coordinates 38.508897, -78.347513, and we will be shooting NNW (North, Northwest) or about 22.5 degrees west of north). You can look at it on Google Earth and should be able to figure out the dimensions/distances.
