    Deuce ownership?

RE: Re: RE: Deuce ownership? I didn't mean to imply that it needs a "fix". Sorry for the confusion. I was just going to extend an invitation to get together, if you were interested. There are 4 local deuce owners with 8 deuces and more coming. Lance

    Ms. Daisy & Shadow

That's a heck of a job!! I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Will it be at Gilbert? Lance

    Deuce ownership?

Biodeucel: where do you live? "New York" is kinda vague. I'm in the thriving metropolis, outside Auburn, about 20 miles SW of Syracuse.

    NSN help needed

Interesting item. I "Googled" the NSN and found out the following. FSC (Federal Supply Class) 1440 is Guided Missiles The seal is still being made at a contract cost of $12.38, with a DEMIL code of "A" It's listed as part of a "Launcher,Guided Missile" but I found no reference as to which...

    Gears Slipping?

Is there any oil coming out of the bell housing drain? If the rear main seal is leaking it can cause the same symptoms.

    Another "What's this APC?" thread

Typically, they were (I guess still are) used by assorted command posts, medical aid stations and such in track laying outfits like Armor, Mechanized Infantry, Field Artillery and some Combat Engineers. They had a gas engine driven 4.2 kW 28 Volt generator in the basket above the engine. It has...

    Buying up the 5 tons?

I'd like to buy an M813A1 and the prices lately are up at least $1,000 and they spike much earlier than they had been. Guess I'll keep looking but I think I'll hold back at current prices.

    SF-97 back in 13 days

Did they charge the $60, or is that still not showing up?

MV Wins the pull - almost

That's pretty hooah! Looking at the lad in the last picture, they made him when meat was cheap!

if i bought a cucv with an sf-97, can it be transferred?

Johnny A month or two back I sold a Deuce, with a SF-97 without titling it first. The Deuce was a '71. The buyer and myself are both NY residents. A CUCV will be a different kettle of fish. NY began issuing titles in '73. Any '73 or newer vehicle will have to be titled prior to transferring...

What can/do you do with a M109 Shop Van

At 18" less the thickness of a mattress or pad it'd be tighter than the old style assault troopships. You'd actually have to get out to turn over. Years ago I had a Class C motor home that was so tight that I had to fold my shoulders (think human taco) in order to roll over. Not very restful...

OFFICIAL 08' RAUSCH CREEK SIGNUP THREAD!!

Well, the #1 son and I were talking today about driving down for this. Kind of thought about driving an M1009 or M1008. After reading all the posts, though, we may bring an M35A2C with an M105A2 and an M1009/M1008, with a pioneer tool trailer. (for a generator, light set, mechanics tools)...

M1008 and M1009 hydrobooters the same?

ida34: you're correct. I'm all ate up. I just got my head out of my fourth point of contact and looked at the 20P also. Now I've got to look on the shelf and see which booster I've got. I was counting on it for both types of trucks. Guess I'll be in the market for the other one at Gilbert...

M1008 and M1009 hydrobooters the same?

emmado22 The above post is only partially correct. An M1009 master cylinder will be weak for a loaded M1008/M1028 etc. There's (from memory) about a 2600# difference in GVWR between an M1009 and an M1008. The hydrovac assembly, however, is the same for all CUCVs. The master cylinder for the...

Is TB 43-0209 Color, Marking and Painting available online?

I'm looking for a digital copy of the TB to get paint pattern and marking info on M35s, CUCVs and M105 and M101 trailers. I'd also like to paint an S-280 to match my 35A2C's body and cargo cover so it looks "right" when in the truck. Thanks Lance
