any updates? just checking in to see .. i am guess now he needs to get some parts. does that truck have the small needle bearings under the spindle . the ones that go over the shaft. a small seal too. i have only worked on ford trucks .. that is the small stuff like what he is dealing with:-P
just a thougth but you might can get those parts at 4wheel parts wholesellers. they are out in cal but fast on the shipping.. now granted it has been many a year that i had to get small parts like those. fat lady sings
this is one a A2? correct.. on a A3 you will need to have the batteries in the truck. will not run without batteries.. very touchy too.. looks like a ground . might be one the starter too. check them all:confused:
i have a lmtv cover. new like condition, camo. some duece axle clamps used with tow bar. landing leg for a 105, a large 12 in snatch block. ill look around this weekend to see what else is unused i will want a couple very nice plastic fuel cans:beer:
update.. the local tv station is coming with local news papers. air force reserve will be bringing in a large grill and cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs. taps with the ringing of the pow/mia bell with the calling of the names of the local 24 still missing. 3 local veterans homes are busing in...
a big welcome from louisiana. your not to far from me so if you need something maybe i can help. glad you joined up . hope to see you at one of our rallies:beer:
good looking gen set. mine looks the same .. tank included. it dont run on the bottom tank unless you turn that tank on. it really only fills up the top day tank. one pull and it starts so easy.
man that looks like the rear winch off a wrecker.. you need that off that truck before you tear up your front end .. way to much weight on the front.. over loaded tires to say the least.
the big thing to me is how much will you have to spend to make it road worthy enough for the trip home. those old seals will surely give out and leaks will be every where. it would be worth much more if it had the original bed on it.. that said and i can see you spending some just to get it...
i was there around 4 years ago.. has a blast with over 10 trucks and hundreds of guys. that was a great time i had . meet some of the best guys in the world. hoping to go again:beer:
