got a call from him this afternoon.. truck running super.. only issue is the temp is kinda high.. he has 1100s singled out and pushing it some... 2300 rpms .. i suggested that he slow down some and then see what its running.. was around 230 deg.. he is driving in a super hard rain storm now.. we...

on my duece the oil check/fill takes a 9/16 allen wrench.. and it dont take all the much.. but if you run it low its not happy and will let you know fast.. keep it checked all the time.. i got my pump that fits on the 5gal bucket at napa for 38 or so

bring some oil and the right gear oil for the axles and the transmission and transfer. dot 5 brake fluid .. the usual tools .. jumper cables... flashlights.. and earing protection for both of you.. stop after a hour or so and check the hub temps.. dont get in a hurry... drive safe

i have a friend over in slidell that needs a lunette for his 416 and i have one coming for mine from a member that is waiting on the oil to break it free. mine was cut off and a 2 in ball mount welded on

i have promised the wife that i wouldnt buy anything else till i get what i have fixed up.. painted or whatever it needed.. so i didnt buy one or look to see what was there.. just drooled some.. today i ordered 2 cases of paint so i can get busy... i really didnt like the drive of that a3 or the...

today i had a up close look see.. some 915s 916s and 920s.. i bid on one a few months ago.. now im glad i didnt get it.. that is one big truck... way to big for me to use around this little town.. i can still see that 200 gal tank on the side.. :cookoo: :drool: :beer:

forgot to mention .. i meet to fine members getting their A3.. jeepjeep was picking up a truck.. i seen him drive it off heading to austin texas.. his truck was the super long bed version.. really look great. :razz:
