This year's event will be Oct. 10-14, 2012. In Union Point, about an hour East of us.
I don't have an official thread up for the 2012 event (I will soon) but here is last year's thread. It has all the info about food, lodging, directions, activities, etc. Just change the dates to Oct. 10-1...
Cool! I have a '68 A5.
You need to bring it to the 2012 Ga Rally. We had 86 vehicles last year and hundreds of attendees. Swap meet, offroading, etc. Lots of fun. See the link below in my signature line for all the pics and video of the 2011 event.
If you need any help with yours let me...
You live in Winder and you have a mule?
Welcome to the site.
I could have sworn there was a thread about towing the mule, but I can't find it now.
I wouldn't tow one any faster than what the TM says the maximum speed is in 3rd gear, hi transfer.

Although SS has traditionally been very heavy on the CUCV/6x6 vehicles, we've...
This is sage advice.
I can pick up a deuce brake drum & hub assy and lift it up into the parts washer and clean it.
2 guys can carry around a 3053.
Wait until you move up to the big stuff-everything requires a hoist or tool to move around.
1. A deuce actually weighs app. 13K lbs w/ow and 13.5K w/w.
2. A Deuce might only weight 13K lbs, but it's rated for approximately 23K lbs. Since it weighs 13K and is rated for 10K on road, it is...................... a 23K lb rated (GVWR) truck.
Hence the 26K lb tag.
I don't even remember a snap ring, but you may just have to wiggle the fan to get it to come free. I've done a bunch and there always "snug" but some wiggling or light tapping should break it free.
