    Look who's coming to stay!

Welcome to Steel Soldiers! And congratulations on your new ride. When is the expected delivery date?

Stonepicker1 back online. Been off the site for a few years

It feels strange to say welcome back to someone who was probably here before me. So I'll just say welcome and thank you, Sir, for your service.

What are these wires and capacitor?!?!?

Hi and welcome to Steel Soldiers! I'm not sure what that capacitor is for, but you might get more answers if you post your question in the CUCV forum. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/forums/cucv.47/ Good luck with your search.

    Anyone got a M1120 HEMTT?

I found an older post that has a video link that might help: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/hooklift-unit-om-fmtv-or-lmtv.181735/post-2160665

Bought an M35A2, with a unique addition

I have a valved air outlet under the dash of my M35A2. The metal pipe looks like its been there a while, while the valve and coupler both look brand new. My guess is that a previous owner replaced the original valve, maybe it was leaking? Anyway here's a picture of mine I think the same as you...

    Big, Scary Truck

I have some friends in Texas who would call that "average" even for a pickup. I'm sure that from the viewpoint of a 20" bicycle that thing is HUGE though.

    lsmft

Sounds like we all could use a friend like Dave. 👍 Hope you can get back on the road soon.

    New member introduction from AZ.

Hello, Ryan and welcome to Steel Soldiers! I don't know a lot about your particular truck, but there are tons of folks on here who do. As far as questions, ask away!

weight of 9x20 tire and wheel

I have a spare set of 9x20 NDT tires on deuce rims but I'm not sure how I could weigh one. I doubt my poor bathroom scale could handle it. REAL HEAVY is a good assessment, but I was able to swap all 10 of mine without a Soldier B. The above link gives a rough estimate of between 125 and 200...

Should it be mandatory that new owners read the -10 manual before they take delivery??????????

Seems to me there is a fine line somewhere in here. The difference seems to be those people who ask for help after they've made a genuine effort to solve it themselves, and the other people who don't look for answers but simply ask for help. I myself have asked for and recieved help here lots of...

    M35a2 Boyce Equipment

Welcome to Steel Soldiers! I can't speak for or against Boyce Equipment. I can say based on my limited experience that owning a Deuce is a labor of love. They are great fun, and very useful, but as others have said they require a lot of maintenance. I would advise you to drive one before you...

    Air pack rebuild kits

Hi. I rebuilt my air pack earlier this year and it is working great. You need to determine if you have a long (older style) or short (newer style) pack. Mine is the short pack. I ordered a rebuild kit from member @Monkeyboyarmy and it came with everything I needed. There is also a good write up...

Yet another engine oil and diesel fuel thread

I like the idea of using 2 stroke oil to help lubricate the injectors. Do you have a recommended ratio for the multi fuel?

    Hello from Northern Alabama!

I would think your 4 runner should pull it just fine. Especially for recreational use. I've been itching for an m105 to pull behind my deuce, just so it won't get lonely :ROFLMAO:. Good luck with your search!

    Hello from Northern Alabama!

Welcome to the site, neighbor. I live close to Huntsville. Don't have any advice on auctions, but plenty of folks on here do. What do you plan to pull your M101 with?

Thanks for the add, new owner and member

Welcome to the site, from Alabama! You've got a good looking truck there.

New Paint, what are your thoughts?

I like the color a lot. Nice job on the painting too. It's your truck, so if it makes you happy that's what counts. I've seen pictures of deuces painted yellow, red, even pink. Good looking truck!

    What is this...anyone?

My luck would be, after it's long gone I would find out where it belonged. Then again, I find parts that belong on vehicles I don't have anymore.
