How much Amperage/voltage goes through the master switch?

My master power switch on the deuce has two sets of wires which bring power in and have it flow out, so each one is only handling half of the power that needs to flow through. Pretty much everything else is handled by relays. If you want a real master kill switch, you need something that...

    1-pin vs. 2-pin slave ports

All the one's I've seen have an adapter plate. I'd like to get about three or four adapter plates (for mine and other trucks at the club compound).

    M944A1 Mobile Shop Civilian Conversion

You have three phase, but that means you should have common and neutral bonded together somewhere. The biggest, longest, fattest pin is the ground, so all you ahve to do to find common is find one pin that is shorted (zero ohms) to that. All the ones I've seen use the standard Black - phase 1...

    Solargizer used for different things

I have used a Solargizer to charge a 1AH battery successfully. It took three MONTHS! And it takes that long to recharge it also. After you do the math, get the correct tool to accomplish the task. You've already been given more information than you need by previous posts here.

    Mep-003 fuel cap

Deuce caps I have (all seven of them) can be set to vent or not. It's what came on the trucks. YMMV

    Question about 105 hitch height

I bought a 12 inch riser from Northern Tools (other places have them also) and use it to pick up an M105 from Poppop. With the pintle in the topmost position, the trailer rode level behind a Dodge 2500. YMMV.

Looking for technical specs on M103A3 trailer

34 inches outside to outside on the width of the frame. OAL can differ a bit. Regular cargo trailer is shorter than a generator trailer by 13 inches. MKT is also a bit different but not as much as the generator trailer bed (at 123 inches). Get your own trailer and measure to your heart's...

    Exhaust for a turbo multi-fuel

No muffler on the turbo. The swap over kits I've seen on e-bay look like they have everything but the turbo itself. Some people put a muffler on the vertical stack, but there is none underneath. You do realize that to make a plain LD-465 into an LDT-465, the only thing that is changed is the...

    DRASH units Generators. Any Info?

Make multiple copies of the CD manuals, that way you can afford multiple generators (and other stuff)!

Shop Van Body, possibly for M35?

Last time I was in Montgomery, the Alabama Guard still had one out back of the DRMO site. GPS 32.404443, -86.258984

    Mirrors - type , source ?

Early deuces had a single arm with a small round mirror. Most have 'west coast' type mirror assemblies. For the mirrors themselves, most of the usual vendors (Eric's, Memphis, Saturn, Boyce, Murray, Newstar, etc.) will have them in stock. For the frames and the rest of the hardware either one...

Looking for bumper numbers for a specific vehicle

Not the correct recon unit, but this is a restored vehicle that was in the battle of the Bulge. I would assume other vehicles in Third Army would be marked in a similar fashion.

Contact Maintenance Truck - specific about tools and box organization? TM for box?

Just in case someone wants to look at it, here's a drawing of the box with the various compartments marked.

    too much bandwidth required

Drew, I didn't HATE the TRS-99, just did not like the mess of cables. main box to tape drive, main box to speakers, main box to keyboard, main box to the cartridge box with it's own power supply cord, RCA jacks to the TV, ad nauseum.

    too much bandwidth required

Dell, I was geek when geek wasn't cool! Still have all issues of "P C Tech", many issues of "P C Magazine" including (unless the box has been tossed) the 'Sears catalog' December issue that went over 1000 pages (in Jan they split it to two issues a month), and wound up sending a dozen or so...

Kind of new from South Carolina

In the upstate, you have the Military History Club of Carolinas in Spartanburg (c/o wlschotes at charter dot net), and in the Midlands, the Military Vehicle Collectors of South Carolina (MVCSC) (www.themvcsc.com). And there is the SC membership map thread >...

    too much bandwidth required

Osborne, the first luggable computer! I remember a demo in Rock Hill where the salesman tossed it up in the air and let it hit the floor, then opened it back up and booted it. Worked fine but I wound up buying a Compaq with two full height 5.5 floppies, replaced them both with half height ones...
