    One aircraft? Seems like a VERY tempting target for SAM or Air to Air missiles! Terrible loss of life and material!! Hard to protect that asset. Great for speed, but would have to stay out of "harms way"....................my two cents

    Chappy, I didn't have train tracks around when young. First real experience? Train ride to Florida for family funeral with my Mom. Not a lot of fun. Second? Rail-head at Ft. Hood............again, not much fun. I appreciate ALL the stories................. no one EVER said adventure...

    Anybody mount a snow plow on their deuce?

    Chains would help. They have open differentials. Lockers are an option that is available. I wouldn't use stock tires unless great tread and were aired down, without chains. No stock power steering. Would suggest weight in the bed. Bobbed would improve turn radius, loose a drive axle...

    Have a crossing several miles away, through the valley, can hear the horn and sound of the train. As another mentioned, "Train wins" and everyone loses. Can't imagine the lbs of kinetic energy let alone the sheer mass. Hmmmm
