Is the copper looking disk in the Solenoid made of copper or is it a contact type of copper alloy?

Here is a thread about my towing I did two weeks ago. Towed ok on pavement but when I got to my dirt road I had a little trouble turning.

M113mark, Here is a link to a guy in Vegas that did some work for a guy from Idaho that needed a M1009 picked up and serviced and then he got on a plane to Vegas and picked it up and drove it home. See post #4

I just did a trip to Nellis in a M35A2 to pickup and tow a m35a2 and it was to bad, but we are hotter now. If you drive at night it would not be to bad.
But I would say if you can find someone, ship it. I would do that this time of year.
