sometimes on older vehicles, the bayonet style gas caps are interchangeable with the radiator caps on a temporary basis. not really pressure rated but depending on the situation your in it might be good to know. modern vehicles not so much.
Any thoughts on a rough number you paid, plus or minus a few hundred dollars say?? Some of us have no feel at all for the $$ value or reasonable market conditions.

Looks pretty dang good. Even with out a tear down for paint, I bet he did a lot of masking. The prep work/ clean up is what seems to take the most time for me.
