Just remember that + wire to the far right in your picture gets connected to 12v+

You can install two 8d's. You have to remove the little dividers that separate the 6tl's. They are wired the same as a LMTV, not like a 939 series. You will have to get rid of the jumper wire that goes +/-/+/-. Just wire it like it should be with two batteries and you won't have a problem.

It didn't, but now it does start/run correctly, it MAY have been related to low voltage, I have been in the process of charging the batteries and I guess they were strong enough to turn it over but was not enough voltage to power the other stuff. Just no readings on Hz or voltage gauges now.

I tested the magnetic pickup as stated. Correct, Hz gauge reads nothing.
