I've gotten Interstate blems for $60 each, without cores. Immediately put them on desulfater when I got the home. They are sitting at 13.48 volts till I'm ready to use them.2cents
Repp,
He's telling you he is not a military supply clerk. He needs the manufacturer's part number to be able to find items. NSN's don't do him any good. If you are looking for deuce parts, you need to download the cross-reference sticky in the deuce forum, which will give you the part...
You are starting the search at least two years late to get a decent one from GL without blowing your budget just getting the truck. Prices have tripled since then, and since the M109/M185 trucks were never numerous compared to the cargo model, expect even higher prices. A private sale is your...
Fastest way for boiling water is to put it inside the M-59 range and put a lid on it. I can easily get 13-14 gallons to a rolling boil in 25 minutes doing it that way. Live and learn. BTW, Huntsville was good!
Elmo was gone when I got in there this morning at about 8:30, so the abduction had to have happened earlier than that. Only clue I can offer. I did get 357 pictures at the show, and three of the group before we took the Anniston tour on Wednesday. It will be tomorrow afternoon before I can...
John,
There are trails that the Long Easy can easily navigate, but if your wife likes the hayburners, you might wind up transferring to Charlottesville so she can go to Graves Mtn. more often. Make sure the generator works as some people seem to think they can run theirs all night long, and...
Ron,
You betcha! I'm packing at least three different ones to wear, five if I can find kinda clean ones! One for the morning, one for the afternoon each day, gotta rub it in!
If you can hang onto a vehicle as it climbs a 20 degree slope made of gravel, leaves, moss and rotten wood, you'll be fine! Somebody else will have room in their MV and can probably use a little extra weight to help with traction. It's even more fun going down the same trails!
The only M36 cargo covers I've seen are the three piece ones in solid vinyl green. Remember, there were not anywhere as many of them as the regular length bed, so many fewer covers were produced in the first place, and the three piece ones filled up the supply system. Good luck!
I've got metric from 6mm to 20mm in both std and deep well for 3/8 drive, plus some larger sockets in std. In SAE, I've got an incomplete 1/4 drive set (std & deep well), in 3/8 drive I have 1/4 to 1 inch std & deep well, in 1/2 drive I have 3/8 to 1 1/4 in std and deep well, in 3/4 drive I...
As of 6pm, Phil is on I-26 eastbound, headed for I-95 south and home. My tents are tarped, my cable from Gimpy delivered, the load on Phil's trailer rebalanced and strapped down, and he got some parts washing gloves from Mitch to boot!
Any Mog or Pinz owners need the correct German NATO shovel NSN 5120-12-120-5615). Is much more used than these pics (from another thread), but has the same markings. I can bring it to the Convention if someone is interested. Current new price in Europe is 26 Euros.
Doing high RPM's in any MV is not bright. Doing it because 'other drivers' are speeding even less so. If you are going the posted speed limit, they can pass or cool their heels till they can. Maybe it's the "University of Smith and Wesson" sticker on the rear windshield, or the "I got IT at...
