Does it have an overspeed light near the transmission light? Maybe the wires are incorrectly connected. A look at wire numbers and schematics may help.

Not sure, they are big and heavy.
The cable is only meant to lift the tire/rim up, once up the 2 lug nuts go into the top part and you tighten them up to secure the whole thing together.
So, you will need access from the top to secure it.
