    m35a2 advice needed

I still have one for sale. MF w/w c-turbo and very good NDTs. Couple of rust spots and I want to paint it. Plus, it came from TN (Smyrna). :-)

    Can anyone id this tranny?

Yeah G. Google didn't give me an image of an ACME T-98. The one from the Garden Gnome of the north's thread shows it. :-)

    Can anyone id this tranny?

I thought it was a T-98 as well but if you look at images of one you will see that this transmission does not have the front section like a T-98 does and the shifter is farther forward. Since we drove to Louisville to get one for my Brother's Ditch Witch I have been becoming more familiar with...

New Member: I'm loving my 5 ton but Brake failure!

Thanks for the update. Now, spend a lot more time with the -10 manual. When you think you are done with it go back and do it again.

    Groveport OH Pickup??

Were you thinking of picking it up on your way to the rally or wanting delivery? Right now if we took everything out it would require at least one 53' trailer.....

I think he is pointing out the warning lights that may be associated with the brake problem. Although hijacking would work too.

Getting work done on the Deuce...

You can print the sections of the TM that are pertinent and take them in with you.

    Groveport OH Pickup??

Which rally? I'd like to know because I don't know how much more storage space is in my barn. Gimpy is using my barn for storage.

Everything you need and more is in Porky's post. Start with the -10 and then go hog wild in the rest of them.

It still sounds like the air pack. My 5-ton makes the air noise but when I got it it didn't and it was the air pack. Sometimes they don't do well sitting for a long time either.

Does it have full air brakes?

Probably your air pak. I would start with a review of the TMs and familiarize yourself with it and the operation of the truck.

What is this outlet under hood in m1008

For the life of me if it is for a heater or charger I have no idea why they wouldn't use a male end to plug into an extension cord but I have seen a lot stupid before. Take the cover off and see if you can put a work light above it and get us a better picture.
