Depends on your definition of close. Not now, parts are available and not as expensive as one of the new M939 series 5-tons. I have an over head trolly with chain hoist to do engine swaps or heavy lifts. Car hoist is too small and it won't even come close to getting up as high as you need...

Correct, the ones they have to use for the ride boat are Man diesels per the Coast Guard. The spares are for the boat they can't give rides on. I can't remember being that excited about being on a boat before when he said I could go up and walk around and go inside too.
