    Watervliet Arsenal NY

Looks like I'll be headed there asap for a small vehicle pickup. Any members along the way or near by just in case? I'll be headed East from Syracuse area. Also, I have a towbar that belongs to Ralbelt, if you know him or could help get it to him. Maybe?

    Axle bolts broke

The correct bolt has a larger head contact surface and self locking design than a norm grd 8 bolt. http://www.parttarget.com/5306-01-153-1368_5306011531368_376869.html/-091BE0E2-B241-4AF1-8551-5B93D6973F10

    Transfer case oiling

Not enough pressure to measure, the pump is basically a hydraulic lifter. I had a failure once too. Never did put the nos tcase in and since don't own it anymore. I never came up with a great idea to monitor it either.

    Moving a 40' Container

You said you had a(1) container to move, I should have assumed you meant you wanted to do this repeatedly for others to?

    Moving a 40' Container

What it the road surface? What's your time frame, do you get frost there, whose road is it and what is the road surface, etc... Put 6x6 under it as skids. You asked for help and we all tried to help. You have to buy whatever it is you use since all you currently have is the container. Sorry...

    Moving a 40' Container

It'd be cheaper, faster and easier to hire a guy with a dozer for an hour, and drag it into place than to buy something you wont need ever again.

Moderators~ Time for a Generator only forum!?

My observation is that probably 95% of the threads(in the last 12 months) in the auxiliary equipment forum are about and titled gensets(nomenclature). Right now, there is only one thread in the 20 most recent threads that is NOT a generator thread. It is about a kitchen trailer. I don't see...

    M1008 dragged home today...

I didn't find them in the TMs either. That's when I started searching the site. I'm sure there are more posts with the part numbers posted. Surprisingly, I didn't see them in the stickies either! IIRC, they are common 12 volt cube relays.
