Why not just put the truck on jack stands and run it that way or you can remove the driveshaft coming out of the transfer case then put it in drive to narrow it down.

What I could tell on one side of the bumper it had OPS then on the other side it had a three digit number.

I was doing some paint prep on the M925A2 and under a layer of paint found what appears to be an outline of a buzzard or vulture whatever you want to call it painted on the door. Does anyone know what it signifies? I highlighted the outline with a pencil.

Do the brakes apply on their own (without stepping on the brake pedal) or do they stay applied after you have pressed on the brakes?

If you really want to mount the cans up front you could always pull the front bumper foward a bit using frame extensions so that the cans could fit behind the bumper. That way they would have added protection.
