Somehow I missed this thread and jumped the gun with another post about the same thing. Trailer is a M989A1 in Eastover, SC... My EUC has not come back yet, so I am leaning towards holding off on the refund and seeing if they change their minds..
Government Liquidation Bid being challenged by government? What?
So... I won a bid for a trailer for my M923 and happily paid for it. I then submitted the EUC as always.. after about two weeks of waiting for the EUC to come back, I get a call from GL saying the item is being "Challenged by...
Your probably right... My issue is being in Miami, an open area to paint is going to be tough. This plus the time that will be needed to address each rust area and the "trail and error" process... A few extra bucks might be worth paying someone...
Now, if I cant find anyone, this site has...
Does anyone have any south florida contacts for paint (I live in miami), I am considering repainting my truck (M923) and would like to have someone with experience. Thoughts?

Thanks again. And I couldnt agree more, I have seen the "read the service manual" response so many times that I almost know the stupid things by memory!
I greatly appreciate the additional info, I rather learn things from your words than on my own, TRUST ME! A perfect example a hub leak...
Ken,
Sorry, I didnt word that correctly. Im worried about putting the parking break on... walking away.... and someone walking in and messing around with it. If they pull the lever forward without anything running, will the truck start to roll?
I am a proud new owner of a M923 and have dedicated countless office "working" hours to reading over what you guys post. So, getting to the chase, as a desk guy Im NOT the most knowledgeable when it comes to mechanical items.
I run the truck under normal conditions, place the parking brake on...
