Correct, I've done a few bonded titles, Iowa has never recognized the SF97. Form 411187 will cover the FMVSS requirements. I've been told by DOT current processing times are 5 to 8 months, my last one was only 4 weeks.
Edited to add that the 5 to 8 month estimated time on my application in...
Good articles. I found an M998 dimensional data plate on my 2006 M1097R1, hidden under the insulation by the accelerator pedal. It also has date codes of 1993 on wheels and battery tray.
I just received a set of the 2018+ MT's from Feltz. They were all 2020 date codes and the lube was cleaned out already. The MT's on my 1097 are all 2005 dates with decent tread and hold air, but I don't trust the cracked sidewalls.
I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to bump it so people know this is still a problem. I was looking at satellite view where my Junction City purchase was, and I noticed there was a pump house type structure in the auction picture background that wasn't there on satellite view. A little...
HMMWV purchased 30 NOV
EUC sent 5 DEC 22
Submitted to TSC 6 DEC 22
Approved 6 DEC 22
Never thought I'd get one back that quick!
Edit, just noticed this thread was for USMC EUC, mine is not.
Deere doesn't have a recommended service interval for row unit gear cases, we just top them off every year. These have an input shaft speed of about 500 RPM and run thousands of hours in their life. I wouldn't worry about changing it in a winch or steering gear. The AN102562 Deere grease is a...
I machined a pod from bar stock for mine and attached with a hose clamp. Not only handy having it right in your face, but also a max temp line added too for quick reference.
Even though I had eliminated any problem with wiring/grounds in the truck, I moved all components to the bench. With just one or two LED's, a flasher, direction control, and a power supply, the same problem persists and is still cured by removing the interior pilot light or adding an...
No luck with the new flasher, works the same. I did notice that if I remove the indicator bulb on the directional switch everything works fine. So it seems the power that drives this bulb is backfeeding to the lights through the bulb. Disassembled the switch to check for pinched or shorted...
Thanks for all the input.
I test wired in one incandescent in parallel on 460/461 and all 4 LED's worked perfectly. I ordered a new flasher of the same style. I suspect my 3 year old flasher has just developed a problem. Checked every terminal & wire and all grounds are clean and zero...
These fronts are some of the first Grotes, dated '06. I wonder If they dont play well with the newer rears? I remember a post that said they made some changes in '07. My flasher is a new SCR type dated '05.
I double checked the wiring, all plugged in correctly. Used test light to verify what...
