I just ordered some filters online from FleetFilter, I thought there were going to be WIX but they were Napa Gold... For the price I can't complain.
Anyhow, I'm not sure if the supplied gaskets will work (just got my deuce so I have yet to change the oil & fuel filters)... I looked up those...
Man I'm glad I found this thread... I thought I was going crazy too, or my compressor was going out. When I fire up my deuce and it has zero air pressure at first, it sounds fine. Once pressure starts building up it sounds like there is a freaking ball bearing banging around in there...
Recently purchased a '68 bobbed deuce. Fun as heck to drive, but there is one flaw that has been bugging the crap out of me...
As you can see from the attached picture, reaching the valve stems is impossible from the outside. Every time I want to check / change the air pressure I have to crawl...
