Actually, I took the tank off that side and only run the drivers side. I mount a portable generator on the pass side on that piece of steel where the tank used to be. And yes it does come off before off roading.
Sorry to hear about your adventure. Been there done that with the nose breaks, I feel your pain. It is an unbearable pain , I dont care what they put you on for med's it hurt's like heck anyways. I hope you heal quick.
