seems I've seen deuces with some other (abiet ugly) plane jane , maybe fiberglass custom cab.. Unknown why anyone or any company would want it other than them not wanting people to know it was an ex-military vehicle... maybe just to blend in or to look like a newer, commercial model..

Seems I have seen an article on this truck before, quite a while back.. Was this style (high top) a specific variant of Military Power wagon? Command vehicle, radio vehicle, different type of ambulance, etc.. than what is normally seen.. sort of an M615 but taller or ?

transporting people in the back of an 'open' truck may be illegal w/o the proper equipment, but in a closed vehicle also? For safety you may want to put belts on the seating but I wonder if thats even required in a cargo enclosed body?
