They're used for normally "blind" areas where a person can not get a nut onto the back side of a piece. They do work great! Little pricey, but do what they are suppose to do.
Neat project! Is the side car attachment where you keep the flight line spool? LOL Looks nice, and functional too! Might do something with the color of the rims though. =)
Looks nice! I agree with Marcus, stands are there to take "extra" weight from extended boom. As long as they have a "hard" surface to brace against, should be good to go. Nice stow away of the farm jack too! Those are dangerously darn handy! LOL
