    How quiet Mil genset

Ok One is normal (I have 4 now), two is for spare parts, three is a collector's inventory, but what is it called when you have 7? Also most run out of hiding (from the spouse) places after 2. Just funning you. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Mep 803a Percent rated current

Maybe a good practice would be to over cool your house then set the thermostat up 5 degrees. This will keep the cycle times much less and avoiding what you are concerned about. As your house heats back up then rest your thermostat. I realize this is a PITA but constant run of any mechanical...

"A Tale of Two MEP-802A And The PU Trailer They Road In On"

I almost purchased another Power Plant but the one I was looking at sold for $2500. In hind site should have went at least one more bid. Good catch for you. That is one thing with GP watch each sale and hopefully as a bidder you will be rewarded. When ever you get it up and running can you shoot...

XM 818 won't turn over and Making Oil!

You got to get the oil, fuel, water out before using a starter again. Dont know myself how hard the injectors are to pull but you need to pull them unless there are glow plugs somewhere to pull instead. Good luck. If you dont do this expect to be changing connecting rods.

So I bought a GB125 gen set and cant find anything on it.

Good idea on renting it out. Then I noticed you're in Florida and the auction was in Barstow CA. How did you transport it? Road trip or shipping company. Comments on how it went or cost to move it. Just curious. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Check those MEPs!

Good catch!! I will have to check my 802 today. You mentioned the "front generator" did you purchase a "power plant" on a trailer? Been looking at them as they go across the block. Who out there knows about the transfer switch on the power plant trailers. Will it automatically sync the...

55 gal fuel storage drum preparation?

Long term? If couple years there is some anti bio conditioner that can be added. Every so often suck any water off the bottom. It will last almost forever. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I bought a "Not operationally checked" MEP-803A what can I expect?

Sometimes as things break around here I think of it as a large pile of scrap iron. But as I work through it and get things settled out in the end I am rather proud of what was accomplished. Guyfang is right if the general population thought "as is where is" surplus equipment was simple they all...

I bought a "Not operationally checked" MEP-803A what can I expect?

Still reading through this thread and I have to ask. The Gensets in Germany appear to be garage kept. The paint is like new. The 3132526 must have recently reset. Guyfang do you know why these look so good? Several in the background look to be the same shape. Also does anyone know just what...

Looks good to me also. I just bought a 802 for $1550.00 at PA. 803s are several hundred more in value. Good luck. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    M116A3 Fix-up & Conversion Thread

Alright I have to ask. The military has the control panel facing forwards on all that I looked at on GovPlanet and yours is facing back. Was that intentional for the fuel tank or another reason. Also is that a generator specific tarp (tan) you have or did you make it? I have a camo gen set (see...
