The FFX County Police will have a few toys on display at the Mission BBQ in Chantilly tomorrow for 9/11. I plan on rolling in the 5 ton. Greenbriar shopping center.
The Fairfax Co. Police will have a few toys at the Mission BBQ in Chantilly this Saturday. I believe from 11-2. I plan on driving the 5 ton over for fun.
I also just ordered two Battery tenders from Costco. They have the best price by far. But not driving these trucks like I used to is eating up batteries.
So if one were to replace these 4 batteries....What would you recommend for brand and size? I am in VA, so weather really not an issue and truck is garaged. Not a huge fan of interstate. Neighbor says he runs the Costco batteries in a lot of his trucks and likes them. I would most likely...
OK...now what 74M35A2 makes sense. Did not know the voltage will only go as far as the clamp. So I will hit each battery for a while tonight w/o unhooking the entire set up. And M35A2-AZ can bust my Brofl if it blows it up.
No electrician here...BUT...if they are 4 of them in series...If I connect the + to the + on one and the -- to the other terminal...it's attached to the + of the next battery.
So, bringing this thread to life...Truck has been sitting and last night...no start. Mine has the 4 huge assume 6 volt batteries under the seat. So I can charge 2 at a time in series with a 12V charger? Forgot to take a picture, but the 4 batteries are hooked up in series. So assume 6V each?
You can get the head off. Not fun but yes. Once the bolts are out and loose, bust it loose with a little tap of a hammer. Replace the head gasket and seal up the bolts as air will leak out of them. You can also clean up the pressure assembly. The back bolt has to come out with the head...
I have chased this for years. SIMP has posted several ideas and I have never been able to make it stop. My tanks hold air, hear no leaks, but compressor continues to cycle at least once every minute for about 10-15 seconds then blows off. I have replaced the air dryer and rebuilt the top end...
I’ve not seen tactical truck post on here in a long time. I have been to his shop. He is capable. You may ask him? But if he is now in this thread I assume he has seen tour request. There has to be someone out by me. With all the dump, landscape and contract trucks rolling my way.
On a thread somewhere...maybe this one, I had mentioned that my 923 does the same thing. Seems to get more picky as time goes on. BUT...when I first crank er up, I have to idle it up so it does not do the pressure check and then dead duck then 2 or 5 light flash. So idle up to 1200. Let the...
