Seems if you google a lot of stuff about military vehicles, Steel Soldiers come up.
You know, hoarding is an addiction. It can be treated.
PM me your phone #, I think I can help you.
Seriously, if we were closer, I would apply for an apprenticeship.
I would love a tour of your facility!!!:not worthy:
HAHAHA I thought I smelled a rat!!!!
Seriously though, at the dealer's we have seen rodent damage
to plastic fuel/return lines, mice and nuts in cabin filters,
and even wiring harnesses chewed up. We tell customers
to get a cat, and if they have a cat, quit feeding it.
Squirrels do lots of...

I like a few hundred pounds of junk back there.
Rides like a Caddy!
Ask yourself this question:
Would Arnold Schwarzenegger take the springs out?
Cucvrus, Nice Pic! As you said, not designed for that load.
But even with the wiggle, I bet she pulled it just fine.
Mine makes regular runs to the recycler too. Scrap
prices dropped here, think I'm done til spring.
Scottladdy, the stuff is really fine and looks like varnish,
not black and chunky like the flex ring is coming apart.
Brown and flaky? Not rusty. And I have a new fuel filter, the
silver square one, and a see through plastic fuel filter in front of it.
Must be some varnish in the bottom of...
Followup to previous post!
Determined to prove that mankind is its own worst enemy,
I made a scrap run today. Plugged the new fitting with whatever
the old fitting was plugged with. Not sure what is going on.
Got home, pulled the top off the pump and used a power brake
bleeder to suck all the...
BUT! Mine was clogged, and gutting the fitting fixed the immediate and
embarrassing problem. Plus I learned more about the IP on the truck,
and the lesson only cost me $30. I'm not real sure I could have gotten
the old fitting cleaned out well enough. I tried to clean it before I gutted it...
I put a new return fitting in the top of my IP today. Previously broke out the glass
ball/spring when it was clogged, couldn't make 30 mph, had a huge blue cloud
around the truck. After destroying the fitting, it ran well. But had a surging
condition I couldn't get comfortable with, and after...
6.2 in a Bronco? Did Ford have a better idea?
But I never heard of the Cummins in the GM stuff til
now either. I'm familiar with the agricultural and
industrial people putting whatever in equipment.
I have heard of A/C tractor engines tested in some
semi tractors in the 70's. I saw John Deere...
Mine did that for a few trips. I used a can of brakekleen and
emery cloth on the shoes and drums. One had gear oil on it.
I might have gotten lucky, shes stops real nice
30 more hp???? Holy Crap, them civvy trucks must be DOGS, I gotta find me one to race & win!!!
I've passed one or 2 cars on the road, I am practiced up and ready!!!
Where's my Diesel 911 with Cetane Booster???
Make sure you can get that plug out before you pull the cover
off. I had to use a 1/2 drive impact to
get the plug out of my other truck.
I'm just saying....
