    Mep002a

I picked up my MEP002a at Ft. Drum today. Neat thing about it is that it has the shipping labels showing it was shipped to Kuwait in 2004. I have searched this site and noticed several guys saying they removed the stock fuel filters on the 002a and 003a. Is that still the best route, to go...

    Gensets at Ft Drum?

Anyone else get a genset at Ft Drum? What an auction, I don't think I have ever seen (or probably will ever see again) so many gensets in one place. I noticed prices of the 5kw anywhere from low $400 to $1000. Some had under 10 hours, one showed 9,000!

    LDS-465-1A inframe headgasket job pictures

Question for DesertFox, doesn't the anti-sieze change the torque specs on the fasterner, making it not seem as tight as it is (assuming torque specs were written for a "dry" fastner)? Just wondering if you compensate for that...

What oil do you run in a 6.2

Well you will get a debate about the "best" brand but you want a 15w-40 Diesel oil. Myself I buy gallons of Mobil Delvac at Walmart and call it good. Others like Shell Rotella, etc...its Coke vs. Pepsi. CUCV 6.2 holds about 7 to 8 quarts with a filter... The way the oil ratings work is that...

    DEATH WOBBLE? M1028A Dually/or M1'S

RE: DEATH WOBBLE? It sounds like the Dana 60 death wobble to me.... common to worn kingpin bushing on the front D60. On the top of the knuckle is a kingpin hub threaded into the knuckle. Inside that there is a plastic bushing pressed into place with a spring. If you jack up the axle and look...

No "GEN 2" Light On Power Up. How to test?

    >>What if the fuse is good and the bulb is good, and the light still will not come on? Gen puts out too. The other thing to remember is that there are two relays under the dash for Gen2 and the voltmeter. There is no such relay for Gen 1. On my CUCV gen 2 lite was out and turned out relay was...
