Re: RE: Got off the pavement today!
Yep, basically a plow anchor from a boat. Digs into the soil for a good pull. There's a company called pull pal that sells a Wrangler sized anchor, but not sure if they have something to anchor our big rigs! :D
I can vouch for this, my brother has a non-turbo with the exhaust between the tandems......he occasionally smokes out the crowd @ parades!! By next year our smoke will be cut down quite a bit with a "blend" of veggie oil. Might even still smell like french fries!!
I left my gearing alone. I don't really care how fast it gets up to speed and never tow anything very heavy. Sure she's a little slower off the line, but I knew I wasn't buying a race car anyway!! :D
rofl Why is it I never read that part of your signature before? rofl
Oh yeah, procomps lift take awhile to settle in, once they're working with the bigger tires, they should settle down a bit.
For weekend use for general purpose hauling, the 101 will fit the bill nicely. I've got a 101A1 version and use it constantly behind my CUCV Blazer or my 1500 Ram. I'm probably going to put radial tires on it eventually. I have a cover for it and it's great for stuffing full of stuff for camping...
Re: RE: M1009 Tires and Lift
Actually, I put 33s on mine and it looks great! I went with 33x10.50 tires to mimic the "tall and skinny" look most MV tires give you. They look like they belong on there, and it helps bring down the rpms on the E-way!!
I'll see if I can find a picture and post it up.
I'm about to start on this "blending" idea myself. Need to get the filters this weekend to filter the stuff, then it's into the deuce tank it goes........with as forgiving as the multi-fuel is, I'm going to start with 50/50 and take it up from there. A lot of the "solvent-thinning" folks swear...
Companies that put up decorative fountains, ect. for events? He could try calling them if he's having a hard time finding veggie from restaurants and such....just thinking of ideas.......
