Where does the license plate go??

One on the front in Missouri, if tagged in a weight class designated to pull a trailer ! Makes my life easier !

    Moving a deuce by train?

At least this thread title may be easier to search. Have noticed in the last month that having been the "use the search" guy, that the search seems to be a bit disfunctional . I find myself having to google search to be redirected right back to the same EXACT phrase that led me down a dead...

Won my first A3 on GL today

Man ! That just sucks ! Been watching the progress of your ordeal, since I have an A3 at Riley also, What now ?

Not at all ! My Harley never leaked a drop ! And my M35A3 cost half what my Softail did ! My 401K is still intact, outgrew race cars, and a good job trumps a second job, in most cases ! Now, consider what the new hobby can do that the others can't ! And, being a bit different and off the...

which should I get truck 2.5 ton or 5 ton

    Don't confuse the Newbie ! M35A3 = Caterpillar, 5-ton = Cummins ! Well, most models [thumbzup]

    Is this a good buy?

Anyway, dogged on you a bit about the dual threads, but the truck is sharp, and all that really matters is what YOU want and can afford to do ! Not too impressed with the feeding frenzy going on, though I do see some of the points that several have made, but it seems as if some misunderstandings...

    Questions on painting a M109

Surprised that the paint and bodywork threads did not come up, there is even a recent one concerning outdoor latex house paint that I found extremly interesting, especially if you are a paint gun novice. One fellow just posted a few days ago of how hew did the complete truck with Rapco rattle...

    Viewing tech. manuals and articles.

I downloaded onto a thumbdrive all the manuals concerning my newly won M35A3 off of Jatonka's site ! Let me tell you, it was pretty fast, easy and totally worth the time ! Be sure to name the files in a way thats easy for you to find and access, makes searching a lot faster ! Then printed...

    Jefferson City, MO

I was watching all those, but after the price they went for a few months ago at Jeff City, I also was watching the 3 at Ft. Riley, and ended up pulling the trigger on the 1999 model ! Really wanted a winch, but wanted the fiberglass hood, low miles with matching hours and late serial number...

which should I get truck 2.5 ton or 5 ton

The one you can drive and afford. The search function will show about a dozen threads on this in the last few months ! Welcome to the site, but you might want to try and not beat a very dead horse ! Not to be short, but this subject is very well covered ! [thumbzup]

    Is this a good buy?

Two threads in the top ten on a saturday night ! And both about the same truck/recovery !

    Wisconsin To Massachussetts

Is this the same truck/thread/poster as a very short while back ? IT IS ! Maybe a moderator could combine them so as to have a continuing point of reference and make it easier to follow !

    What grease do you use?

I use Shell Retinax LC. It has a very distintive red color, so as I lube new-to-me equipment, I can easily tell when I have flushed the old out and the new is through ! It is also hi-temp, very waterproof, and darned sticky to boot ! It used to come as free samples when you purchased a case...

    M35A3 Questions?????

One on E-pay from Odessa, Missouri awhile ago, tracked the numbers on it to a GL auction from Louisiana, and they all had it removed, kind of plain looking, I myself like the look with it intact. If it works, it is great, if not, your correct, a real pain ! Not a fan of the internal powders...

    Advice on Deuce purchase.

If that truck runs, stops and sounds as good as it looks, that looks to be a fairly easy project ! Like that it has not been steam cleaned up, so you can truly see all the little seeps and leaks ! Looking forward to see what you decide ! ;)

    Advice on Deuce purchase.

An '85 C model dropside ? $3.000 ? Would totally be checking it out, as after over 2 years of looking and hunting, I notice the market is rising, so . . . . if all is good and functional, Brakes, dual or single circuit, motor, tranny, rust, title paperwork done or Sf-97. Much easier to add a...

    Who pulls trailers regularly?

Am SOOO thinking of the front pintle on the NEW purchase ! How easy is that for the odd situations I am always encountering ! A set of the rear flags covers the rest ! Great thread ! 2 BIG A** birds, one read ! Thanks ! Jay [thumbzup] :jumpin:
