Try using a volt meter to see if you are getting volts to the dash and to the bulbs, also try cleaning the instrument cluster below are 2 good threads on this. Another thing it might be is the part that holds the bulbs, i have seen these at orielly auto parts for around $3...
I added oil pressure and water temperature, I think its good to have both, as for the tach autometer makes a good one but its around 140 but I heard it works great there is a guy on here the installed one and it looks and works great.
I agree with that, there has been a lot of problems with this, mine was doing the same thing. But instead of the oem design I went with a spin on fuel filter. In my opinion its much better than the factory design
That makes sense to me as well, I does sound like a loose belt tighten the belt and the squiling should stop, if it dosent I would replace the belt, I have had good luck with Goodyear Gaterbacks a little more $$$$ but well worth it
Maybe they sent you the wrong thermostat it happened with me when I ordered one LMC truck, it wasn't that big of a deal but take out the thermostat and usually it will say the temp on it
P.S. the temp is when the thermostat starts to open it will usually run 10-15 degres more than that
