NO NO NO. You don't want to try messing with the "C" model bed. It is very complicated and will likely lead to the end of civilization as we know it.
A better approach would be to trade me for my standard bed (I'll even set it up for you) and save yourself the hassle.
BTW not a real fan of...
If it was a "C" model I would there tomorrow. I am hoping for someone doing a bobber that wants a regular bed or a 105 (I have one available).
Good luck
I found a PDF for this. Located at

I left it in this form to give credit where due.
I know it is an old post, but it interested me and I thought it might interest others.

The F250 getting it's drive shaft pulled in a hotel parking-lot. This is shortly before I found out the pickup would only track if the bar was extended to hole number five. I also found out that bungee cords...

That is not the most flattering picture I have ever had taken. ;-)
It is not my best outfit but works great for a recovery.
I don't think I'll ever totally get rid of the diesel fuel and burnt oil smell. [thumbzup]
You beat me to it. How often does an active duty truck see "highway pressure".
My bet would be that the trucks are run at sand, mud, snow settings.
Hundreds or thousands of miles fully loaded with 15psi = ???
Keep a close eye on all military tires!
All of my trailers have had 10-15 psi.
I wanted to give M35A2-AZ a shout. He is a really great guy. He offered/followed through with letting me borrow his med. tow bar. Not only that, but he drove over 100 miles to help me get it. He is a stand-up SS citizen.
I also appreciate everyone who offered their help. I bumped your guy's...
I hear you. I had done a test drive on one for sale locally. Yes, very loud.
I have a Bose ANC head set from when I was flying helicopters. I may take those and the Ipod to ease the pain.
I am going to do the full service on the truck and yes Lucas is already in the case to go.

No worries. I'm taken the camera. I plan on taken my time through there so hills won't bother me. You read my mind though. I have a lot of respect commercial trucks but I am not hot on the idea of they and 20 somethings running up on me at 70-80 mph, when I can only do 48 ish! It's hard to avoid...
I have gotten quotes in the neighborhood of $1.50 a mile. The real expense is in the details. I plan on doing a cost analysis on the actual cost to buy and retrieve and deuce from an auction when I get back with mine next week.
Just to give you an idea. I am close to $3000 and I have not paid...
It is almost time to pick the new truck up. I'll be leaving Sunday and picking up Monday. Hopefully, we will be on the road Monday night. If things go as planned I was hoping to camp at Lake Amistad National Recreation Area. Has anyone been there or taken US-90 from San Antonio to Van Horn?
It...
Is it just me or is that hard to watch sideways?
Great video. I appreciate the post.
My wife is going to hate you for giving me another project though.
