I did the swap om my M1010 with the US shift few years ago and it has being to Alaska and San Diego in those 2 convoys and works great with the US shift, the 4l80E i used came of a 6.5l truck after rebuilding with a trans go kit and deep pan has never had any problems....

Looks good but will not work for me , trying to put it my 83 AUTOCAR and it is a flip forward hood, plus i should have being more detail about it, needs to be the strait type one not with the curves at the ends .

Would no make white smoke at idle, that is not burn fuel from getting injected before piston reach the top of the stroke , of course if it was lite grey to blueish then is not enough fuel which would indicated some IP problem, also keep in mind however did the IP can set the timing on the stand...
