I sent a PM to mudguppy a week ago – no response. It seems he hasn’t posted here since 2011. He has provided all of us with highly detailed threads on his Deuce build.
I’m using a Cummins 5.9 and Hydro-Max because of his threads. I now have questions about his hydraulic conversion of his PTO...
I recently retired from PPG Industries where I worked for 28 years in our Automotive Coatings lab. My entire career involved product development and customer service. Without knowing exactly how you mixed and applied the paint I can only guess at possible causes. First, the glossy finish is...
NAPA wheel cyl. rebuild kits
I really wouldn't want to leave it up to the NAPA to give me exactly what you bought. Would you happen to have a part number for the bulk buy? Thanks for the tip.
Thank you. Thank you to everyone who responded to this request. My best friend started this post to help me with my truck. I spent Saturday night and most of Sunday in the hospital because of chest and jaw pains. During my stay in the hospital, unknown to me, Ryan joined Steel Soldiers, asked...
I agree, Mudguppy has a highly detailed Cummins 5.9 engine swap including great pics. I plan on doing a Cummins 5.9 with a NV4500 trans and the Hydro-Max brake package without the disc brake setup. He answered alot of questions for me, great guy.
I'm thinking about adding bullet resistant windshield panes to my crew cab deuce project to compliment my M66 and demilled M2HB. Mounting the "glass" won't be a problem, but I haven't solved the issue of extending the wiper shaft to clear the extra thickness and still function well. Has anyone...
Amazing build. I have read this entire process 3-4 times over the last year. I have also been so impressed that this past Tuesday, I bought a Cummins 5.9 – 175 hp engine and plan to sell my LDT-465.
I have a growing list of questions:
1. Could you give me contact info for the company that...
Cooling the intake charge is the easiest way to lower egts. However, I've been told the MF intake manifold has water/coolant jackets cast into it. Which makes it impossible to lower the intake charge any lower than the temp. of the water, approx. 180 degrees. I'm planning on building an intake...
For someone who probably doesn't run that truck much at the track those are GREAT reaction times. I would love to run you at the strip when I get mine finished (couple years from now). WE could match race, you know the whole Pittsburgh vs Cleveland thing.
Hi, I'm fairly new here. 30 miles south of Cleveland. I have a set (6) PLS wheels to super single your deuce. The advantage of the PLS wheels over the HEMTT wheels is that the PLS wheels don't need any machine work done to them prior to adding the adapter plates. I would like the wheels paid in...
parts needed
Looking for winch cable socket and a pair of steps/running boards for a m35a2. I will be there early Saturday morning with cash.. Thanks Ron
Marengo shopping trip
I saw a lot of boarding ladders for sale this past spring on here. I'm looking for a 6 step aluminum boarding ladder. That will work on a deuce with "395's". Does anyone have one they can bring to the show. Thanks
Car Cruise in every saturday night
There is a good sized car cruise 30 miles south of Cleveland in Laurel Square on Pearl Road in Brunswick in Medina County. Usually 150m - 200 cars and a dozen Harleys show up. I have seen as many as 400 cars in one night. There's a DJ and 3 different fast food...
I just bought a new calendar today. Now I'm looking for a reasonably priced fuel tank for a deuce. Anybody have one that is coming to Findlay .......this year.
