The inside of the tires don't have any cracks and the tires on the other side don't have cracks at all. Now I'm thinking that the sun always hit the one side of the truck but not the other. Or the tires sat deflated on that side. All tires hold air though. It sat for a month here while I was...
Is this what will lead to catastrophic tire failure? Tires have 100% tread, but it's obvious that it sat in one place for a long time. The small cracks are in only one area of the tire, where it would be bulging out at the bottom. 2 tires are 2004 and 2 are 2008. I'm guessing they should be...
I get the steep angle and all, but they come balanced out of the factory or at least I think they do. So I don't understand why they go out of balance, unless they never were?
That switch must be an A1 thing, definitely don't have that on my A0.
What kind of mileage was on your shafts? I lubed mine, but hoping to defer that for awhile if I can.
I think my idle speed is way too high, about 1000. I definitly need to check the linkage, etc, before adjusting the idle speed. Any idea what it should be?
Thanks, I'll check it out. All help is greatly appreciated! As far as the trans, I got the truck as level as possible and it's showing at the low end which is probably like 10 quarts low on these! Guessing that's the problem, but I'm going away on vacarion for the next 2 1/2 weeks, so it will...
I suppose, but this truck is decievingly clean. No oil leaks anywhere. The only air leak I found is all 3 lines going into the cab leveling valve. Took the lines out of the quick release fittings and put them back in with some silicone around the edge and now it works great. Cab doesn’t sink...
Well now that I think about it, there was a caging bolt in one of the air chambers of the right rear brake, but it wasn't tight, just laying there and I took it out and promptly forgot about it 😳. Thanks, definitely something to check 👍
The problem is I only went a mile and after shifting to neutral it won't go back to drive till it cools off. When I got back home I switched to neutral at the top of the drive, see if it will roll in neutral and it doesn't. It's like I set the brake. Also can't shift back into drive until it...
Possible, but I've got bigger problems now. Took it down to the gas station, first trip since being delivered. Gas station is about a mile away. Got there fine. Went to leave and it wouldn't shift into gear, 7 just flashing. Found trans to be super hot. Trans seems to be full on dipstick...
