Ok, that makes since. I bought a m1009 that had been changed over to 12v and volt meter dosen't work. Checked the line for power and all if fine so figured must be a 24v gauge. I bet that resistor is bad. Thanks.

The volt meter must be 24v if measuring both batteries?
