    Transfer case mounting bolts

    Don't know. From the rust on the stud pieces found lying in the frames, at least one had broken befor I owned either one. That's why I wondered if it was common. I had thought about that but with the Tcase being roughly centered under the rear of the cab, I was leary of the balanceing act that...

    Transfer case mounting bolts

    Right side xfer case bolts that attach to the single mount sheared off. I have only one bolt in my full size M35. (a quick drill and tap while in frame). Have a logging chain wrapped around case and frame on my bobber. Both bolts are sheared. Is this common? I have yet to read of anyone else...

    Sparks->smoke->fire?

    Eriks military surplus has the NOS wireing harness. I bought front and rear halves. Have yet to install the front half. Probably a time consuming job. Just have not had the time so I keep patching. Sounds like yours is beyound that.

    1966 m35

    Run search in the deuce hot-rodding and mod forum. Those guys have tried everything. Before I got too ambitious about dressing it up I'd give the drivetrain and especially the brakes a good going over. The bigger the tire the harder to stop. May I also say WELCOME to the asylum.

    LDS turbo on LD engine

    The LD is in my bobber with stock 9.00x20 ndts. It runs smooth but lacks power. My M35a2c has the D turbo and will flat out pull the bobber on any and all the hills around here tho it weighs roughly 3500 lbs more. Thought adding the turbo from my 5 ton parts truck might help things. Both my...

    LDS turbo on LD engine

    I had read that thread. I think his engine was an LDT to begin with so he may have already had many of the parts. I guess the best thing for me to do is climb up on the 5 ton with either a set of calipers and notepad or a handful of wrenches and a can of panther piss and start yanking parts.

    Preping your deuce for paint

    I thought OD green was OVER DIRT green. I took a putty knife and popped off loose chips and took to carwash. Was dry by the time I got home so I fired up the paintgun and WALLAH?, I had a green truck. DONE!

    LDS turbo on LD engine

    Have been searching with no luck for putting a turbo off a 5 ton on my LD M35A2.(Hope I didn't just overlook the thread) Has anyone done this? Will all the parts be available from the 5 ton? Will I have to swap the intake and exhaust manifolds? Don't know what series turbo it is but it is larger...

    Why does everyones deuce leak air pressure?

    Spend some time with a squirt bottle of soapy water. I work with high pressure gas and am adament about leaks myself. You may not find them all but any you find and fix will help the draindown. It will ease your mind knowing the buzzer is from draining the moisture from your tanks and not from a...
