Ah that makes sense, from what I have read they don't rub together.
Wider stance in the front sounds nice, I may experiment with that later on but first I just want to get everything switched over to the 11.00s.
Not 100% sure what you are saying here, spacers are for rear to decrease rubbing on the trunnion cap bolts, right Valence? I will be running my stock Budds, G177s all around and dual rears.
They are lots of fun, but the old PA20s are getting harder to find. Last one I had I sold to a guy in California so he could restore it for his 'Adam 12' cop car.
This turned out to be a bad ground on both left and right sides, I had forgotten to completely tighten the light enclosure mounting bolts when I reinstalled them after paint. They became excessively loose and I started losing lights until I saw what I had done  Thanks everyone for the...
So I'll be the next to undertake this project. Picked up 11 G177s mounted on 5 ton rims and will hopefully be switching them over soon.
Few questions.
Valence, what did you use for wheel spacers? Custom built or sourced?
Has anyone tried the 2 degree spring perch mod vs a wedge shim or milling...
So a friend gave me this old Fedral PA-20A siren.
I have owned them before and they are fun, so I decided to install it in the Deuce.
My main use for it is the PA function and music rebroadcast, the one wired to my CB just wasn't cutting it at 25 watts so I think this should do the trick...
Since my email was ignored and there was no attempt at an apology or explanation I will go ahead and name the shop "Superior Interiors" in Hooksett NH.
I'll get a couple pics of the repair tomorrow.
I am so mad right now! aua
In the spring I took my cargo cover out of storage only to find that a rodent had chewed a hole through the center of it. While I was angry at the time, the hole was not in the worst spot in the world so I dealt with it all summer.
I should note here that I have a 3...
Sorry to bump an old thread, I just picked up a PA-20 and the mic is missing. I want to use the PA function so I need to try to locate one, epay is a bust and my google searches over the past couple days have turned up nothing. Anyone ever find a suitable replacement mic and connector?
Thanks.

Hey fellas, quick question about the blackout light system.
I was demonstrating it for someone the other night and realized I could not get my front markers to turn on. My headlight and tail lights come on fine but could not get my B/O front markers to illuminate. The next day I opened the...
ALWAYS check your brakes if there is an unknown fluid under the truck, even if it's nowhere near the brake lines. I once saw a ton of (what I thought was grease) on the inside of my right front tire, drove home and went to hit the brakes for my driveway and my pedal hit the floor. No harm no...
