There's a guy in Cheyenne that has a ton of stuff, or at least used to, don't remember the name. I avoid Wyoming like the plague...if the wind ain't blowin 100mph somethings wrong
RE: This site should keep you busy for awhile.
Mk31 MTVR, don't remember if it has airbags in the rear, but it DOES have REAR STEERING!! Got to check them out at Pt Hueneme.
Stuffing a d'max in the HMMWV is pretty staightforward if you know what you're doing. Plumbing the intercooler is a bitch but that can be worked around through programming.
RE: Re: RE: turbo vs non-turbo
This dinky little turbo is more of a restriction than anything. Go to a larger turbo, but then start pushing headgaskets out.
Sounds like a great idea to me. I've been wanting to make a list of the PS mags extras I have but we haven't had hardly any rainy days this year and been super busy working on some new projects. I'll try to get a list made up ASAP
Hey, if he's at the Flyin' J in Joplin he needs to cruise over to 4state trucks about 5 exits down, I'm sure the Boyz can help him out. Might come out with a tricked out truck:) My grandpa used to live right next to Joplin, at least he's in a nice area. Wish I was closer to be able to help out...
No need to drop the crank at all, it will slide right around into place. You will have to drop the rear main cap and retorque it but that's no biggie after making it that far.
Piece of cake. The original seal was a rope seal. When I did mine there was about 3/4" left. It's common for them to disappear, nowhere to be found. The new ones are a 2 piece neoprene, cost me about $12. No leaks since.
