Sorry Bjorn, somehow I missed this post. Anyway I was thinking if you were coming out later in the year we have lots of events going on, but nothing I know of for July. Figured you'd want to make the most out of the journey :) Either way we'll have to try and hook up somehow.

I like the tailgate steps better myself, however on my M816 the folddown is a bit better as it's about twice the length of the tailgate steps.

This is part of the problem why the glow plug relays never seem to last. I've always replaced the relays with a 24volt unit and never had another problem with them again on dozens of CUCVs. There was a MWO on this, I had a cases of the relays but only have like 2 left now and keeping those.

That's where the one on my M35 was orignally mounted, but it was in the way of the slave receptacle so got relocated to the side.

I agree, take it by a spring shop. I bet they'd make you two new springs for relatively cheap. Like Jones said it will give them a break in the everday boredom. I've got a buddy with a machine shop that makes some products for uncle sam, whenever I have a project of my own he stops everything to...

Gunny was at the convention we had out here at the USS Hornet, it was a real treat to get to talk with him. I think it may have been his first MV show as he was running around like a kid in a candy store. I noticed after the convention that his jeep was decked out with all sorts of accessories...

Matt, I sure don't. They went on a deuce I had about 2 years ago so they are long gone now. I've been getting the real GI ones from John Bircheff at the local shows latley.

Winch Rebuild Parts Yep, you can get all the seals and bearings at NAPA as well. I had a list of parts somewhere but can't find it in this mess.

I've got some Superwinch one and some selectros I'll sell pretty cheap. Used condition but wanted my M37 all original.
