Sorry Bjorn, somehow I missed this post. Anyway I was thinking if you were coming out later in the year we have lots of events going on, but nothing I know of for July. Figured you'd want to make the most out of the journey :) Either way we'll have to try and hook up somehow.
What part of Tahoe you in? I've got to meet one of our contractors in South Shore next week and am in Truckee all weekend. Be more than happy to come help you get it running....unless it's snowing again like it did today :?
This is part of the problem why the glow plug relays never seem to last. I've always replaced the relays with a 24volt unit and never had another problem with them again on dozens of CUCVs. There was a MWO on this, I had a cases of the relays but only have like 2 left now and keeping those.

Gunny was at the convention we had out here at the USS Hornet, it was a real treat to get to talk with him. I think it may have been his first MV show as he was running around like a kid in a candy store. I noticed after the convention that his jeep was decked out with all sorts of accessories...
Matt, I sure don't. They went on a deuce I had about 2 years ago so they are long gone now. I've been getting the real GI ones from John Bircheff at the local shows latley.
